Metal Gear Solid 3 Re:Play

I have the bad habit of buying games and never playing them. I recently discovered I owned Metal Gear Solid 3 on the vita which happens to be one of my top games of all time. 

Well in an effort to get my value out of the purchase I fired up the game and played it for about a week straight when I was able to. 

Wow!

This game is still incredible. In this version they've included the additional camera control which makes an enormous difference in the game. Playing through this game really took me back in time. I remember when I bought the game originally and playing it nearly start to finish. I was hooked. I admit I went pretty quickly on this play through and set off a lot of alarms but I had a great time doing things I hadn't the first time around. 

This is absolutely one game you should make an effort to play. 

BATTLETECH

I had my eye on Battletech since it came out but was waiting for a discount since I knew one would come and I also wouldn't put a ton of time into it.

Well that finally happened and I picked it up.

What a cool game!

The turn based gameplay is exactly what I needed. Low stress (so far) play at your own pace gameplay is exactly what I was looking for.

I'm only 2 hours into the campaign so far but I'm really enjoying it.

If you loved the old Mech Warrior games as a kid then I think you'll easily fall for this game.

Legacy Of The Void - Finished

So Starcraft is probably my favorite series of all time. I have played countless hours in multiplayer but have been very slow at finishing the campaigns. Well about 2.5 years later I decided I would set the time aside to finish The Legacy of the Void campaign.

WOW.

I forget sometimes just how good at making games Blizzard are. They are so good at setting the tone and making things feel so incredibly epic. This game was no exception.

I only played it through on normal so I would actually finish it and I do feel like I cheated myself a bit by not going to a harder difficulty but this was the best way of me completing the game.

You should absolutely play through this game (all of them) if you haven't already.

My First Platinum!

Little recap of our last few months. We've added a new baby to the family and that has definitely impacted my already lackluster contributions to this blog.

With the new baby I have hardly been playing PC at all but I have been playing my PS4 a ton and I have officially earned my first ever Platinum!

I've been playing Watch_Dogs 2 like crazy and it is honestly one of my favorite games. It is just so much fun. I really appreciate that I earned the majority of the trophies were earned from playing the game. There were only a few that I had to go out of my way to earn, the hardest of which being the ones that required interaction from other IRL players. Fortunately this game is so much fun that there really was never a hard time finding players.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this momentous occasion with you all.

If you haven't already you should absolutely pick up Watch_Dogs 2 if you enjoy large sandbox games.

Side note. I desperately want to visit San Francisco after playing this!

Update! Sony emailed me about my accomplishment! I had no idea that was even a thing!

NBA Live 18 Teaser

Recently picked up NBA Live 18 and it has been an absolute blast. Very well made and has some very fun modes. Great competition for 2K.

Ghost Recon Wildlands - Hunting the Predator

Ubisoft recently added a short mission for Ghost Recon Wildlands where you track down and kill the Predator! It is a really fun mission and I suggest you check it out!
